Signing keys

The GPG key signs repository metadata, RPM and Arch packages, and SHA256SUMS manifests. The Alpine RSA key signs APK packages and APKINDEX.tar.gz.

Binary GPG keyring for apt · ASCII-armored GPG key. The original britive.gpg download remains ASCII-armored for compatibility; do not save it directly as an apt .gpg keyring.

Compare the full GPG fingerprint or Alpine public-key SHA-256 with the signing-key reference on Britive Learn before trusting a key. If a value differs, stop and contact Britive Support. Fingerprint files on this download site are convenience copies, not an independent verification source.

Trust the GPG key (apt)

sudo curl -fsSL https://download.britive.com/keys/britive-keyring.gpg -o /usr/share/keyrings/britive.gpg
sudo chmod 0644 /usr/share/keyrings/britive.gpg

Trust the GPG key (rpm / dnf)

sudo rpm --import https://download.britive.com/keys/britive.gpg

Trust the GPG key (pacman)

curl -fsSL https://download.britive.com/keys/britive.gpg | sudo pacman-key --add /dev/stdin
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key packaging@britive.com

Trust the apk RSA key (Alpine)

sudo wget -O /etc/apk/keys/packaging@britive.com.rsa.pub https://download.britive.com/keys/packaging@britive.com.rsa.pub

Print the GPG fingerprint (compare against the verified reference)

curl -fsSL https://download.britive.com/keys/britive.gpg | gpg --show-keys --with-fingerprint

Verify a GPG detached signature

curl -fsSL https://download.britive.com/keys/britive.gpg | gpg --import
gpg --verify <artifact>.asc <artifact>
